My Mission
Hi, I’m Grayson Kimball and I am a student at Park Hill High School in Parkville, Missouri. In 2025 I founded Service Hours Connect with the mission of connecting teens with available volunteer opportunities in the Kansas City area. When I needed service hours for National Jr. Honor Society and my school’s A+ Program, I struggled to find volunteer opportunities, particularly ones that would work around my school and football schedule. I ended up picking up trash for my local homeowners’ association and doing other tasks, but I really wanted an impactful volunteer experience. This frustration led me to create Service Hours Connect as a Missouri non-profit. I also bought the domain name servicehoursconnect.com. My website is a resource for teens in the KC region to connect with KC based non-profits who need volunteers- either on a regular basis or sporadically. At ServiceHoursConnect.com we do just that- connect teens to a variety of opportunities through our free posting model. This allows non-profits to constantly connect with teens in my region, easily and all in one place. Feel free to reach out with any local volunteer opportunities or questions.
